Created and nurtured by the passionate members of Stillwater Community Arts\, Artsapalooza created a thriving community for artists and art enthusiasts alike. \nWhen the nonprofit disbanded in early 2024\, the Town of Orono took the initiative to keep the artistic spirit alive by launching a new festival. From this vision\, the Orono Arts Fest was born\, benefiting from the Town’s generous funding and logistic support. \nIn 2026\, the third annual Orono Arts Fest promises an exciting array of offerings including music\, theatre\, dance\, and visual arts. Attendees can look forward to an engaging main stage series at the Orono High School Performing Arts Center\, dynamic music concerts scattered throughout local venues\, interactive workshops to get hands-on with art-making\, fun-filled kids’ art activities\, and an Artists’ Market showcasing local craftspeople. \nLast year’s event brought together over 1500 attendees and 96 artists for 33 live performances and an artist’s market featuring more than 35 artists. With its diverse program\, the Orono Arts Fest truly offers something for everyone—each person\, regardless of age\, can find joy in the celebration of creativity and the arts. Join us as we continue this wonderful tradition!
