Join us for a summer gathering to take action and protect our communities!

Food AND Medecine’s civic engagement group and IB are coming together with neighbors to take a stand against the Republican-led budget cuts that are threatening health care, food assistance, and other essential programs. While the wealthy get more tax breaks, the rest of us are left with higher costs and fewer resources—and most people haven’t even heard about it.

At this event, we’ll write handwritten messages to voters in key Republican districts to help raise awareness and inspire action before the 2026 election. These voters are directly impacted by these cuts—and they could be the key to stopping Trump’s MAGA movement from gaining more ground.
